Problematic • Seifer Almasy, Final Fantasy VIII
character tribute & fanlisting
Understatement of the year: Tamisa's favorite character of all time is, in fact, Seifer Almasy.
Problematic has been my labor of love for 7 years now, and I don't plan on changing that. Seifer Almasy is a character that is often not very well-loved by the
Final Fantasy VIII fanbase (or the
Final Fantasy community in general), and it's something that I don't quite understand: while he is portrayed as an "evil" antagonist, I believe he has some characteristics that we all can relate to -- a drive to prove himself and a fierce ambition being a few. It is what I consider my most noteworthy accomplishment, which bodes well for me since it seems to be the site everyone most associates me with.
Save the Queen • Quistis Trepe, Final Fantasy VIII
character tribute & fanlisting
Less emphasized is my love for Quistis Trepe, but she is easily my favorite female game character. There are bits and pieces of ourselves we all find in her: feelings of insecurity, the pain of growing up, and experiences with misplaced love. She is one of my favorite characters because she is so easily relatable and so
flawed -- only boring characters are perfect! Here's an interesting tidbit for you: while
Problematic remains the site most people identify me with,
Save the Queen is in actuality my favorite; her relatability actually helped me through a period in my life where I just wanted to
write.
Imperator • Gippal, Final Fantasy X-2
character tribute & fanlisting
Gippal is all things snark and sarcasm. Despite being a non-playable character with a scant amount of screen time, he's the only reason that I even managed to finish
Final Fantasy X-2 -- after all, a girl can only take so much blatant fanservice before wanting to put the controller down. He's got to be pretty brave, you know: the way he sports only one eye with undisputed suave, shamelessly boasts all shades of purple in his attire, and carries an enormous gun that would have you wonder its true efficiency would make it hard to take him seriously, but I love him all the same.
Imperator is my attempt at creating a light-hearted tribute to a minor character; hopefully I've somehow succeeded!
Retribution • Vegeta, Dragonball
one page tribute & fanlisting
Dragonball and its subsequent series is one of those shows you grew up watching. Goku is one of those heroes you come to idolize. But where is the love for Vegeta? I felt that he was incredibly overshadowed my Goku and ultimately resorted to being second best. If there's one character you should admire from the show, it should be Vegeta -- although it took him many trials, he finally learned what it is to be
good and finally broke free of the grip an evil dictator had on him.
Retribution was originally created as part of
Amassment's One Page tribute Marathon; what can be seen now is the backbone of a site I hope to expand later, so be sure to visit again in the future!

Coming soon(er or later)
These are sites that I'm currently working on, planning on working on, or hope to work on. All that means is that you'll probably see them in the far and distant future. Or probably never. (Translation: subjects with images will be worked on, but completion time is highly variable. Subjects otherwise listed are projects that I could potentially work on. However, with my internet ADD, this list is subject to change at any point in time.)
- Calamitas, Sakurazuka Seishirou (Tokyo Babylon/X)
- Ruin, Azula (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
