The larger clipped broke/shattered apart when my husband tried to use it the first time. A piece flew off and hit him in the eye.

I’m a podiatrist so I have a pretty critical eye when it comes to my steel tools. I purchased this for personal use and as I do need my nails to be clean and short for work, I love keeping this handy and use regularly. The clutch design is elegant and the slots for my items are the right fit for each tool. I recommend for personal use or to give as a gift to a friend.

Came damaged. Product poor quality. Don’t waste your money.

Very disappointed. Cheaply made. The case was coming apart when I got it. I returned it and got a prompt refund. I wouldn’t recommend this item to anyone.

I’m a guy in his late sixties and I’ve never purchased a nail clipper yet alone a full manicure kit. I do have a couple of finger nail clippers and a larger for the toes. To be honest I don’t even know where I got those. Perhaps they were family hand me downs. So I thought it time to purchase something and I saw this set in the specials and decided it was time. To be honest the thing that caught my attention was the pair of clippers that resembled wire cutters. I have one tough toe nail which is long and ragged and has destroyed at least a half a dozen gold toes. Now I was going to get even and cut it down to size or at least short enough so it wouldn’t destroy any more of my socks. I must tell you I’m a Parkinson’s patient and holding anything steady is a bit difficult,but the cutter felt stable enough and after a few tries I succeeded cutting the nail. That one clipper was worth the price of the kit. So I decided to give the fingernail clipper a try but my hand tremors prevented that idea. The following day my home health aide who was after me to get some new nail clippers made short work of my fingernails. The toe nails were next and cutting them wasn’t as easy as we hoped. My toenails for some reason are extremely thick and hard. My aide had me soak my feet in some pretty hot water hoping they would soften up a bit but she still couldn’t get through the nails. Turns out she didn’t have the hand strength to get through the nails. Luckily my physical therapist arrived and saved the day. He took the clipper and had no trouble getting through the nails. The next day I found that though the nails were cut pretty even my socks still caught some rough spots. The kit contains a file which worked very well and I must have the nicest toes in the neighborhood. The rest of the tools in the kit weren’t recognized by either my aide or therapist. They were however recognized by my neighbor who stopped by with some cookies, well most of them. The ones she recognized all are used by her manicurist and she explained each one to us. As I said in the beginning I was mostly interested in the heavy cutters and I consider the other cutters and tools a bonus. The one star deduction is due to the case not closing completely.

I’ll most likely order a couple of more sets and gift them to my daughter and granddaughter.

All the trimming tools have sharp blades making for clean cuts the first time and leave no ragged edges on nails or cuticles. The blackhead remover is a bonus!

This kit has everything I need for my grooming routine right down to a pair of tweezers that do the job they are meant to do. All the implements are sharp.

The case snaps shut firmly so everything stays in place no matter how much I jostle the makeup bag I keep it in. The plaid case is nice, feels like quality vinyl and so far has held up well in my make up bag, being tossed around/bumping against inside with other things, the case shows no wear on it.

It’s a pretty case with all the tools needed for grooming.
I picked up the scissors and the came apart as i opened them. I’m glad I wasn’t using them and cut myself they are extremely sharp too bad they don’t work

Its very poor quality, don’t guy the photo & overall selling rank. It’s not stainless steel. You get what you pay for.
